A: (I haven't decided yet.) It is currently called, "You too can be a star!" but that may change.
Q: what is this piece about?
A: Many issues, including: The vulnerability of our image once it is captured; the sometimes disturbing - sometimes ridiculous - result of combining two unrelated images together; the viewer's trust and fascination of "interactive" art; the effect of making "interactive" art that places us in compromising situations; and the use of photography to facilitate our ability to remember, specifically questioning how trustworthy a photograph (especially a digital one) really is.
Q: how is your work "technology-based"?
A: All background images used in the piece were found on the Internet, mostly in search engines like Google. Also, a computer controls the entire installation. Everything exists digitally; there will be no physical record of the pieceÑno "output," so to speak.
